This piece was inspired by the song "Evening Falls..." by Enya. I wanted to capture that moment between day and night. The background was worked very quickly, laying the colours over the top of each other so that some blending occurred. The cloud layer was then painted over with thick paint when it was dry.

This isn't the entire piece, as the bottom section was redone after this photograph was taken, however it's merely the words to the song.
