Fairies, Elves & Fae Creatures
Whimsical, wonderous, creatures of light and dark...
Faery (also known as fairy), Sidhe or fae folk, have played pivotol roles in folktales and myths. Some cultures represent them as malevolent beings, intent on making mischief and chaos, while other cultures portray them as magical beings of light and nature. Some are winged and share characteristics of butterflies and flowers, some elves stand as tall as any man or woman, others are merely a shimmer, a motion caught at the side of one's vision.
This is my view of the faery folk... a blend of beauty, the occassional butterfly wing, an ancient race sometimes welcome in our world, sometimes seen only in a dream. It's merely a representation, a vision, an enchanted world.
