A bit of an experimental piece, sketched during a lunch break, and painted with a lot of wet into wet. She started out titled ‘petal’ and became Persephone, goddess of spring and flowers. This is an ACEO painting of the Goddess Freya (also spelled Freyja). She was a Norse goddess of love and fertility, was often cloaked in a cape of feathers and wore a golden necklace. Her rune Fehu or Fortune is painted in the corner in gold gouache paint.
