Urban Angel – Armana
I’ve been itching to paint an ‘urban’ angel since I started reading Nalini Singh’s Guild hunter series, particularly an angel with wings that weren’t white – and no flowy gowns or blonde hair and blue eyes. The name is from a list I found online.
Memory from Memory’s Wake
This is not a fully rendered digital painting, more an expanded sketch. I did the original piece within an hour, earlier this month as a part of sketchfest, then spent another 1/2 – 1 hour refining it so I could enter it in a competition at http://memoryswake.com/fan-art/. I rarely do fan art, though I do enjoy the occasional foray into the territory.
