Garkun – forest boy

Garkun is the fifth painting in a series of character portraits (Includes Vik, Anahit, Lada & Zabava). He’s a forest boy, having seen many horrors of war, he’s taken to scavenging the forest and battlefields, always followed by a shadowy forest spirit). A watercolour ACEO painting, plus sketch and colour concept.

Two new commissioned character portraits. They were a lot of fun to paint! The first is a young female mage, while the second is a Sell Sword or mercenary. Both have Viking influences in their garb.
